Taiwan, July 10th, 2009 - Apacer, the global leader in memory modules and
digital storage hardware and software, today launched the innovative PH250
USB 2.0 Data Transfer Hub, adding the extra edge appreciated by today’s
discerning consumers to its already complete storage and peripheral
devices.

The PH250 USB 2.0 Data Transfer Hub provides the perfect solution to
transfer data among different PC or storage devices without the need of a
complicated network setup. Its USB ports allow the connection of up to 3
devices at the same time. PH250 users also enjoy the convenience of
downstream USB ports compatible with both High-Speed USB 2.0 and USB 1.1
(low- and full-speed) devices, bringing uncompromised connection and speed
to its users.

Plug-and-Play Data Linking
Apacer’s PH250 USB 2.0 Data Transfer Hub encompasses the innovative Data
Link function, making it an easy and versatile data transfer device. PH250
allows easy transfer of data from PC to either other PCs or various storage
devices. The PH250’s unique and high performance plug-and-play Data Linking
function makes it extremely easy to transfer data directly from PC to PC,
without any additional storage media, or the usually complicated network
installation.

High Performance, High Speed Data Transfer
Apacer’s PH250 USB 2.0 Data Transfer Hub gives customers the most effective
solution to quickly and easily exchange photos, music, video, and other
files between 2 PCs. With the Data Link function, Apacer’s PH250 USB 2.0
Data Transfer Hub delivers high data transfer. When transferring data
through the traditional network, the data transfer is limited to the
network bandwidth. Or, when transferring through external storage device, the
transfer is limited to the capacity of the external storage device. Apacer’
s PH250 could support transmission speed of up to 480Mbps when transferring
from PC to PC; and when transferring from device to device, it supports
unlimited data capacity. Although PH250 can be used most of the time
without need of an external power source, an optional power adapter is available
for USB devices that consume more power, such as CD-ROM/CD burners, external
hard drives and printers.

Versatile, Reliable and Safe
Apacer’s PH250 Data Transfer Hub allows the user to add multiple high
performance USB 2.0 peripheral devices to a computer. The USB 2.0 hub is
fully compliant with the USB 1.1 specification, such as a previously used
USB 1.1 device, which can continue to function as usual. Featuring
plug-and-play, the hub requires no complicated installation procedures.
Just connect it to your computer. Apacer’s PH250 support Bus-power (without
power adapter) and self-power (with power adapter) modes. The PH250 has
over current detection and protection, adding to the safety of the product.
