NesteQ is a very young company that made its entrance to the market with some very high quality power supplies (E2CS). We have also seen some very nice efforts to enter the cpu cooling market with Silent Freezer 900 and 1200, and also some accessories like FanMax. NesteQ has shown that it has what it takes to withstand the competition and satisfy its customers. Today we will see another one power supply from the German company that was recently released, the semi-passive ASM Xzero series and more specifically the 500w model.

NesteQ ASM Xzero series power supplies have some unique features that makes them ideal for everyone who wants a silent working environment. First of all it is a semi-passive power supply with heatpipe cooling system and a 12cm fan that is controlled and starts working only if the temperature inside the psu exceeds 65 degrees celcius! The fan can also be manualy adjusted at the speed we want.

It also has a power monitoring panel at the back that allows the user to check if everything is going ok at 3.3v,5v,12v and 5Vsf lines. Another strong point of the ASM Xzero series if the EECS (Enchanced Easy Connection System) that allows the user to combine cables and achive lengths that no other psu can offer.

Let's have a look at the features and specifications!
